ConnecTyre “Scan and Stand a Chance to Win a ConnecTyre Trial” Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering the “Scan and Stand a Chance to Win a ConnecTyre Trial” competition (the “Competition”), entrants agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

Organiser
The Competition is organised by GoMetro (the “Organiser”), a company incorporated in South Africa.

Competition Period
The Competition begins on 19 September 2024 and ends on 31 October 2024. Entries must be received within this period to be eligible.

 

How to Enter

  1. Participants must scan the QR code provided at the RFA Golf Day event or as advertised via the Road Ahead publication and email campaign.
  2. After scanning the QR code, entrants must fill in their details to participate in the competition.
  3. By entering, participants consent to be contacted by a ConnecTyre sales representative to discuss their business and potential trial opportunities.

 

Eligibility

  1. The Competition is open to legal residents of South Africa who are 18 years or older.
  2. Employees, directors, and agents of GoMetro, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected to the Competition are not eligible to enter.
  3. The Competition is aimed at businesses within the transport, logistics, or fleet management industry.

 

Prize
The prize is a ConnecTyre trial for the winning business (the “Prize”). The specifics of the trial will be discussed with the winning participant.

  1. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. The Organiser reserves the right to offer a similar alternative if the stated Prize becomes unavailable.
  2. The Organiser makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, or availability of the Prize and shall not be liable for any dissatisfaction regarding the Prize.

 

Winner Selection and Notification

  1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries by the Organiser.
  2. The winner will be contacted directly by a representative of GoMetro via phone or email no later than 31 October 2024.
  3. There will be no public announcement of the winner on social media or any other public platforms.
  4. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 7 days, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

 

Data Protection
By entering this competition, participants agree that their personal information will be used for the purpose of conducting the Competition and may be shared with the ConnecTyre sales team. Personal information will not be used for any other purposes without the entrant’s consent.


Limitation of Liability

  1. The Organiser, its agents, and affiliates shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death caused by or related to participation in the Competition or the use of the Prize.
  2. The Organiser is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, network failures, or any other issues that may impede or prevent participation in the Competition.

 

General

  1. The Organiser reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice or liability to any participant.
  3. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Competition.
  4. By entering the Competition, participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organiser from any and all claims, damages, expenses, or losses arising from or related to their participation in the Competition or the acceptance or use of the Prize.
  5. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa and comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Competition shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA), with the laws of South Africa applying exclusively.
  6. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
